Intrinsic values, in their simplest form, refer to things we value for their own sake, not for what they can get us or lead to. They are the inherent worth of something, independent of their usefulness to humans and their ability to serve a purpose.
Let’s set a fair reference that we all were born with a pure intrinsic value.
Then, involuntarily and voluntarily, we have been colored by various experiences, yet what matters is how we have digested and learned.
Life is complex and can be treasured by our wisdom.
At some point, when things click, Cardinals sing, full double rainbows set up at the horizon, we return to our intrinsic self.
My friend, this can happen to anyone.
