Color interpretations are influenced by cultural background, personal experiences, and even the specific shade of a color.
A healthy human eye can distinguish approximately 1 million different colors. This is due to the three types of cone cells in the retina*, each capable of registering around 100 different shades. When combined, these cells allow the brain to perceive a vast range of colors.
